Thankfully Reading - The Day 3 Update

Oh what a glorious weekend this is! I have finished reading THE QUALITIES OF WOOD, which was great and you'll hear about later. I've started reading SACRIFICIAL MAN, which is creepy-wonderfulness so far. I'm sure you'll hear more later. And I got several hours of THE OCTOBER LIST finished yesterday while I did some work on the blog.

I'm sure you'll notice some changes in the sidebar and the biggest update I want to bring your attention to is my Review Archive. Instead of listing out all the books I read in the present year and the past year in the sidebar (it was just starting to look so cluttered to me), I created an archive page. I have almost three years of book reviews added so far, there's still quite a bit to link up yet, but I'll keep plugging away. I started with this year and last year's so I could take those lists down out of the sidebar, but then I moved back to the first year of the blog. Oh my goodness those reviews are atrocious. So if you stumble on one, please forgive my amateur attempts at reviews. Not that I'm any kind of professional now, but those were just terrible. One I found didn't even mention the author's name. Good Lord! I hope to work on that some more and ultimately have all my reviews from the blog linked here. So if you're wondering about a specific book you can check on the archive page now.

I have some more pictures to add to the Most Wanted Wall which is making me wonder if I can organize that a little different. It's obviously much longer than the column beside it now. Not that I'm complaining. It's a great display of wonderful authors.

Don't forget to offer up your suggestions for alternative authors in yesterday's mini-challenge. I've gotten a handful of great suggestions so far and I'm looking forward to more!

Now I'm going to go think about my on-the-go titles for Literate Housewife's, aka's Jennifer's mini challenge today (yes it's a Thankfully Reading weekend full of Jen/Jenn/Jennifers).  Be sure to pop over and check it out!

And let me know what you're reading today? Are you fitting some reading in between turkey leftovers? I hope so!
