Left Coast Crime

Before I break into my plea for help today, I wanted to give you a heads up that I finally decided to disable the anonymous comment option in the comments section. I apologize profusely to anyone this will legitimately affect, but I have just been bombarded with spam within the last few months through that feature and it's taking up far too much time to delete the crap and keep the actual comments. I wish I could fine spammers, then I could make some money off their irritating garbage. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know about that change.  

I believe I've mentioned that I'm attending Left Coast Crime this year for the first time. It takes place next month and I'm looking forward to it. And you know me, I can't say no to being on a panel or to moderating it...so once again, I'm in the drivers seat, but this is a different sort of panel this time. It's actually going to be on social media and web presence this time.

Since Left Coast Crime is a fan conference, I don't want the panel to simply be an instruction session for authors--that's for the writing conferences; I'd like everyone to get something out of the experience if they attend. So, to try to meet that goal, I'm going to ask for some input and thoughts from you that will help me to craft the questions and discussion.

On the panel we're going to have web designers, bloggers, and authors--so a good spectrum of people who are involved in the online experience. I'm hoping to be able to record the panel so that I can share it with you all afterward. (I don't think they're going to be recording the sessions for sale, so it shouldn't be an issue, but I don't know that for sure.)

So, I've put together some questions in this form. Answer as few or as many questions as you like...and as pertain to you. Any feedback you provide will be greatly appreciated.
