For those of you who might have heard that bone-chilling scream earlier today. Yes, that would have been me. Thank you so much to everyone who included the blog on their nomination form. You have truly touched my heart...and put one huge, goofy smile on my face. Thank you all! Thank you for coming and indulging my obsession with crime fiction. Thank you for being my friends. I am honored!

O.k., I'll stop gushing. Anyone who attends Bouchercon in St. Louis this September will be eligible to vote on the Anthony Awards. Of course that's far from the only reason to attend. It's going to be a blow-out bash. So, if you haven't already registered, do that soon. Just jump in and make the commitment. You won't regret it!

And I'll get back to the Crime Readers Caught Reading Crime...at an Indie Bookstore tomorrow. Check back! Happy Reading.

I've read 2 and maybe 3 of the best novels (I don't remember the title of the Lippman book I read; is this one about the 2 sisters?)

The Lock Artist was great. . .Faithful Place was good, but French's earlier novel was better.

I scanned down the list and don't believe I've read any others ! Now I have a list to take with me to the book store.

Still looking for a copy of "A Quiet Belief in Angels" ?

Well deserved blog nomination, Jen! Congrats.

Wow! Fantastic news.

I've read Faithful Place (bleh) and loved The Lock Artist, as you know.

Other than that, I've read The Sherlockian and really don't understand the hype. The book, to me, was only ok, and I certainly would not have nominated it. Ah well. Now I'm curious and will have to read a few more off this list.

Thank you all for the wonderful congrats.

Michael, you have been my cheering section from the get-go. I consider you a part of this accomplishment. Hugs, my friend!

Karen, you've made my day!

Perry, I have a copy of A QUIET BELIEF IN ANGELS that I believe I got while I was at the last Bouchercon. I also borrowed the audiobook from my library. But here's a link that might be helpful for you:

I have an interview with Roger I need to get on the ball and put on the blog. Look for it soon...I hope! ;-)

Thanks again everyone. I'm so excited. Thanks for sharing that with me.
